Free blackberry chess game
I was searching a while back for a free chess game for blackberry; I checked all the usual sites as well as blackberry’s appworld and couldn’t find any. I went ahead and purchased Solverlabs Chess from appworld. I recently was browsing blackberry’s appworld and saw the game is now available for free.
When I bought it the price was $0.99 and was thinking why not just give it away. While I’m not an accomplished chess player, I do enjoy a good game every now and then. Other than my disappointment of paying for the game that is now free, I’m also displeased that the game doesn’t have a two player mode. This I would have liked since I replay some classic games and try to understand the players thinking at that time. Also the game has three levels the lowest being junior and can be very challenging for new players. In other words it’s difficult at any level. I’ve played chess on the iPod touch, the free chess game by optime software and found it a joy. The interface is well polished and there’s a slider to adjust the difficulty so there’s a huge range in terms of level adjustment. The optime chess also has two player mode. For those who enjoy playing chess and have been searching for a free one on blackberry, head over to blackberry’s appworld and get solverslabs chess for free.
